Great location but tired apartment which needed a goo clean

Position and view 10/10. One bedroom apartment needed a good clean. Balcony doors dirty. Mould in bathroom. Outdoor furniture sticky. WiFi was not the best. Kept dropping out. Crane being used to do outside painting. Very noisy and this was not known prior to arival.

Staff were very attentive and the location is good with great views of the harbour. However, it’s quite tired and in need of a renovation. We travelled with other family and there was a unanimous hate for the shower in the bath. Time to change for walk in showers.

Tired and depressing. I booked directly with Accor, some months before arrival at this dreary, dingy hotel. On arrival, we were told by the very pleasant but clearly overworked receptionist, that there was no restaurant, bar, or gym. The hotel appears to have been cut in half and partially sold to another operator and the lobby is half boarded up for building works ( which do not appear to be underway). The room was large but smelled of damp and mould. The carpets in the hallways were grubby. I have never done it before but I immediately requested a refund and moved out. I spoke to Accor who confirmed the refund by phone but the hotel itself was not aware of it. All in all, I am sure there are better places to stay, even in Darwin. I have never done th

Overall very dirty inside and out. No restaurant and renovation work taking place to the exterior hence unable to see through windows. Were not informed at time of booking that exterior was a construction site. Inside very tired and outdated. Generally only 1 person on reception and lengthy wait times if wanting assistance. Asked where the Coles store was and not directed to walk through the lobby and instead walked around from the front entrance in the heat the back carrying groceries. Staff look uninterested in their jobs.

Poor Information have stayed at this hotel several times previously and always good this time we were advised the day we arrived of the building works two days previously of no restaurant , bar or room service also the room was never cleaned the entire stay
