Very disappointing property, no aircon in bedroom, long walk through carpark to lift, smoking on balconies

I rang the hotel direct to book as had special requests for walk in shower and questions about mobility access. Was never advised there is no air-conditioner in the bedroom. When questioning this on arrival we were informed(twice) that a pedestal fan would be brought to the room. Never happened. At check-in I asked if it was a shorter walk to the lift than from the outside carpark for my husband and was told no. Very incorrect information. The walk from the outside carpark(the middle as the 2 disability parks were occupied) was across bitumen and up a slope to a corridor. Room was tired but reasonable. On the balcony was unpleasant due to smokers outside on their balconies. We checked out early after one night. A week has passed and our refund has still not appeared in our bank account. Very disappointing experience and could not possibly recommend this property.
